Frequently Asked Questions

Question:What is the Life-After-Fifty Website?
Answer:Our goal is to provide over-50 adults with a research tool for finding up-to-date information and web-based help related specifically to our generation.
Question:What is the free Calendar?
Answer:Our personal calendar is a free tool you can sign up for to enter your appointments by date to help organize your busy life. To sign up just supply a username and password. The calendar is a monthly calendar where you can enter your appointments for each day of the week. The data is saved for all the months you have entered for as long as you are registered with Life-After-Fifty.com. This calendar is great for keeping track of scheduled events for your club or organization as well as personal appointments. The pages of the calendar can be printed out for distribution or to take with you in your travels.
Question:Why does my calendar print in a different color?
Answer:The print version of the calendar is modified to only use 2 colors in order to preserve the ink cartridges on your printer. If the pages were printed with blue backgrounds as shown on the screen, an unnecessary amount of blue ink would be used.
Question:What do I do if I forget my username and/or password?
Answer:Send us an email at with the title of your calendar and your username (if you know it). We will reset your password and email you back the name of your previous username. Then just sign up again using the username, your same calendar title and a new password. You will still be able to access all the calendars you have completed in the past.
Question:I often see Web sites that deserve links on your site. How do I suggest that they be included?
Answer:Just send us an email at and we will certainly add a link for the site if it meets our criteria. We appreciate these suggestions.
